Federal Accessibility Legislation Alliance

Federal Accessibility Legislation Alliance

The Federal Accessibility Legislation Alliance (FALA) has been working hard to get Accessibility Canada Act passed.

If you would like to receive FALA updates to stay informed on progress, you are welcome to sign up as a member at  www.include-me.ca/join-us   FALA welcomes individual members.

Our campaign to have the Accessible Canada Act become law before the fall election now includes asking people to write letters to Canada’s PM, Minister Qualtrough, all Senators and their local MP expressing support for passing the Act. FALA provides an on line, one step process to make it quick and easy for anyone to send letters. Since we opened this opportunity yesterday afternoon, 33,176 letters have been sent by 319 people. This is encouraging, but we know that more letters = greater impact.

You can help by sending letters yourself. It only takes around a minute at this link.
