FlexHousing is a practical approach to designing and building housing that allows residents to convert space to meet their ever changing needs.

Community ACCESS-ability Program
Funding is available to non-profit community organizations or groups, and municipalities for renovations that will provide universal public accessibility or to upgrade existing accessible facilities to improve universal public accessibility.

The Nova Scotia government assists with the payment of prescribed medications through a variety of programs.

Parking

Accessible Parking Program 
To obtain the necessary vehicle plates or window permit, an application must be sent to Access Nova Scotia, an agency of the Province of Nova Scotia. The form requires completion by the individual and a physician. To obtain an application call 1-800-670-4357 or write Access Nova Scotia, Box 2734, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3L 3P7.
