This morning Minister Qualtrough re-tabled the Canada Disability Benefit Legislation.

This represents another milestone in our collective journey towards the full inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of Canadian society.    On behalf of Minister Qualtrough and our entire team, I wanted to thank you for your contributions, time and efforts to get this important legislation to this point.  Our work is not finished as there are many more steps in the legislative process to go, so we will continue reach out for your support as we navigate the forthcoming parliamentary processes to get the bill passed.

As you know, the work “behind the scenes” has never stopped, and this aspect will continue to occur concurrently with the forthcoming parliamentary process.

Here is a link to the official Government of Canada News release which I encourage you to share through your channels.
